We had a great day at Bucklebury Farm Park!
We were very excited on the coach! We did plenty of singing and counted all the cars.
We were able to climb and balance on the "Trim Trail", some of us climbed very high.
The animals were hungry. We needed to hold our hands very flat so that the animals did not nibble our fingers! Some of the goats were not very good at waiting for their turn!
These are the guinea pigs. They were warm and soft but a bit fidgety. We had to stay very still. Look at their long hair.
It was a long way to the top of the look out tower. We could see the other class having their tractor ride and the deer in the field.
Miss Knight's dog Ralphy came in to visit us...
We have released our butterflies...look!
Everyone was fascinated by the butterflies. They sat for a long time on the flowers before flying away one by one.
At last the butterflies have emerged! We have given them banana and orange segments. We have discovered that they have very long tongues!
Look at all the things that are growing in our classroom! We have planted beans, peas and potatoes.
We measured some of the plants.
Our caterpillars are changing...
They got bigger and bigger. Now they are hanging from the top of their pot. What do you think will happen next? Keep watching.
