Listening moment
At any point in the day set a timer for one minute. This could be on a phone, computer, egg timer or sand timer etc. preferably somewhere visible to make it possible to see the time passing.
Now, stay very still and quiet with your listening ears switched on! For one minute listen as carefully as you can to all the sounds around you. Try to remember all the different things you hear, and when the minute is up, tell somebody about all the sounds you heard.

Can you copy any of the sounds using your body or your voice?
Try this activity again in the evening to see if the sounds you hear are the same or different.
