Today's first learning activity is the same as yesterday. It is important to regularly recall times tables facts so they stay in your memory! The more often you recall them, the quicker it will be. Follow the link for each times table and work through each of the steps.

Remember, if you can't get on to the website, have a go at writing or saying out loud the 2-, 5- and 10x tables or trying the times tables target wheels from yesterday's lesson.


The second learning activity is to look at the multiples of the 2-, 5- and 10x tables. Multiples are the answers to the times tables e.g. the multiples of 2 are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 etc. Think about the following questions.

What do you notice about the multiples of the 2x table? 5xtable? 10xtable? Think about the digit in the ones column.

How do you know if a number is a multiple of 2? 5? 10?

How can knowing the 5x table help you work out the 10x table?

Which multiplications did you find trickiest? Can you use this model and fill it out for the ones you got stuck on?
