Harder Level

1.Watch the story "Whatever next!" again and think about your favourite part of the story.

2.Draw a picture of that part of the story.

3.Now think about what it would say on that page of the book under your picture. Say the words out loud so you are sure what you are going to write.

4.Now have a go at writing a simple caption to go with your picture.

Remember...

To sound out each word slowly, using your fingers
Use your sound mat if you have forgotten what the letters look like
Leave a big finger space after each word
Is there a capital letter at the beginning of your sentence and a full stop at the end?

Extension:

Can you write 2 or even 3 sentences for me? Try and keep your letters sitting on the line.
