                                         Learning at Home...

Please check here for daily updates on what we are learning at school and how you can support your child at home...

ALL HOME LEARNING SET FOR PREVIOUS WEEKS IS STILL LIVE AT THE VERY BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE

Home play

Please encourage your child to play purposefully at home in between the adult lead learning sessions. Exploration and play are paramount to children's development and so should be valued equally to the more structured learning sessions.

A considerable amount of our time in EYFS is spent in child initiated play, discussion and practical activities that develop the seven areas of learning. The following however outlines the explicit teacher led sessions that will be taught in school. Please ensure that your child keeps up with these where possible and reads on a daily basis.

 Week Beginning 1.3.21

The Weekly Challenge!

Each week we will post here a practical and fun activity that children can engage in together with their families, either throughout the week or at the weekend. Let us know what you think...

Reading at Home

Please ensure you read at home everyday using the Collins E Books. When you log in you will see that books have already been chosen for your child to read by the teacher.

Please make sure the children read these books at least twice, as the confidence and encouragement they will get from revisiting a familiar text is essential for motivating them to read.

Please let us know if your child is struggling or you would like support.
