Learning Objective for Today:

Know that all numbers are made up of smaller numbers.

 

Today I am going to do an activity with your child. They will need a set of small objects that comes in 2 colours (Eg. lego pieces, coins, counters, blocks).

Collect your pieces and watch the videos.

 

Can you repeat this activity with 6? How many different ways can you find to make 6 with 2 colours?

If you have a printer you may wish to do the following activity sheet, or make one similar.
