Nurture. Discover. Achieve.

ORANGE TEAM

Learning Intention:

To use everyday words when talking about capacity (full, empty, half full, holds more, holds less,  the same)

You will need:

  • containers of different sizes & shapes (cups, jugs, pans etc)
  • paper labels with full, empty, half full written on them

Watch the video below and then find lots of different containers of different shapes and sizes in your house.

Can you practise filling them... up to the brim, half full and leaving them empty. Can you match the correct words to the containers and take a picture for me to see.

If you have a printer you may also like to try this colouring sheet.
