Welcome to the second lesson of our science topic for this term. The topic is about the classification of living things and evolution and inheritance. We will be looking at understanding key vocabulary and important people that have contributed to this scientific approach. If you haven't completed the lesson from last week, look back at the knowledge organiser to help you with more information.
For this lesson we are going to take the ideas that we have explored about classification and explore this idea with classifying animals. Read through the Powerpoint below to give you some more information. Then have a go at completing the worksheet on classification. Don't forget to use the knowledge organiser as this has a diagram to demonstrate how animals could classified into groups and then sub-divided.
