Transition Events to help your child settle into school

Please feel free to drop in to any of the events below. Arrival through the school office please.

Monday 4.7.22

New Parent Talk at School (4-5pm)

Friday 8.7.22 (1.30-2.45pm)

Stay & Play with parents: Bring your child along to meet new friends and become familiar with the setting.

Monday 11.7.22 (1.30-2.45pm)

Stay & Play with parents: Bring your child along to meet new friends and become familiar with the setting.

Friday 15.7.22 (9.30-11.15)

Stay & Play without Parents

Feel free to leave your child for a little while to see how they get on.

EVENTS TAKING PLACE IN SEPTEMBER

Meet The Teacher (for families who are new to our school)

You and your child will be invited into school to meet one of the Early Years Teachers. This is an opportunity to talk about any worries or concerns you may have for your child and share important information that relates specifically to your son/daughter. You will also be welcome to have a look at the teaching areas and we will be able to show your child around. You will be given your own time slot for this meeting which will take place in September.

Stay & Play

    Bring your child to school so that they can stay and play with a small group of other children and get to know the staff who will be working with them. You will be sent a date for this visit which will take place in September.

Stay & Lunch

    Older children of Reception age will be invited to come for a second visit and stay for lunch. You will be sent a date for this visit which will take place in September.

Staggered Start

    Children will be given a date on which to start school full time. We will start a few children each day until the class is full.
