World Book Day

This Thursday will be World Book Day. This is an event that takes place once a year. It is a special day to celebrate all of our favourite books. Usually everybody dresses up as their favourite storybook character and wears their costume to nursery or school! This year will be a little different but we can still celebrate together from home!

Mrs Mifflin and I thought it would be really exciting if Puffins and Woodpeckers celebrate World Book Day together! So on Thursday our live Teams session will be with both classes! You may have seen that the usual meeting has been cancelled but you should receive an invitation to a combined session in place of it.

So in preparation for Thursday's World Book Day bonanza live session we ask that you have a go at making a costume to wear, and take a photo to share with your classmates and teachers on Thursday. If you would like to take part please send your photo to Miss Knight before Thursday morning ready to show on Thursday. Your costume doesn't need to be extravagant and we certainly don't expect anybody to buy anything new. The more creative and DIY the ideas the better!
