Throughout the year, Year 1 will be using Purple Mash, an engaging and child-friendly online platform that supports children in developing their computing skills across a range of topics. 

During the Autumn term, our focus will be on helping the children:

• Familiarise themselves with Purple Mash-learning how to log in, navigate the platform, and explore some of the tools and activities available.

• Develop basic computer skills-including using a mouse and keyboards, opening and closing programs, saving work, and understanding how to use technology safely and respectfully.
