In art this term, Year 1 will be introduced to the work of the artist Georgia O'Keefe who is well known for her large, detailed painting of flowers. Pupils will explore her use of colour, shape and close-up views to create bold and interesting artwork.

Children will experiment with different painting techniques and will then create their own flower painting in the style of Georgia O'Keefe.
