This writing this term, we will continue to practise using capital letters, full stops and finger spaces consistently. The children will also further develop their phonics knowledge to help them spell words more confidently within their writing.

As their term progresses, we will begin to introduce question marks and exclamation marks, and the children will start to use the word 'and' to join words and clauses in their sentences. This will support them in writing longer, clearer and more detailed sentences.
