This term in Year 1, children will be exploring stories from the Bible and the important messages they teach.

Children will listen and discuss well-known stories, including:

• David and Goliath

• The Good Samaritan

• Zacchaeus

Through these stories, children will begin to understand the idea of a moral as a lesson about how we can behave towards others. They will explore themes such as kindness, bravery, forgiveness and helping those in need.
