Dear Parents and Carers of Year 3,

Due to the extreme heat forecast, the school will be closed on Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils and staff.

During this time, we have set a range of online learning activities for the Year 3 children to complete at home. These can be accessed through their Purple Mash login and are designed to support and continue their learning.

To further support your child, we recommend using Hit the Button (a quick-fire maths game for ages 6–11) to practise multiplication and division facts. We also encourage children to explore the free ANTON learning platform, which offers engaging lessons across subjects including Maths, English, and Science. Please create a login for your child and guide them towards the Year 3 activities. In addition, the Oxford Owl website (accessible via your child’s login) provides a wide range of free eBooks to support reading and comprehension.
