Hello Red Kits Parents and Carers,

We’re looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and fun!

School start time: Please ensure your child arrives by 8:45 AM each day so they can settle in and start their learning on time.

PE days are Monday and Wednesday. Please make sure your child’s PE kit is kept in school and that all items are clearly labelled to avoid lost belongings.

Reading is very important, so we encourage children to read every day using their Oxford Owl login. It’s a great way to support your child’s reading skills at home.

Attendance Matters

Good attendance helps your child get the most from school. We aim for attendance above 95% — every day really does count!

The Year Ahead

In Maths, we will focus on building key skills and encouraging regular times tables practice to strengthen both recall and problem-solving abilities. You can support your child at home by helping them rehearse their times tables in fun and practical ways.

In English, we will place a strong emphasis on developing neat, consistent handwriting and improving spelling. Children will be encouraged to take pride in the presentation of their work and to practise their weekly spellings both at school and at home.
