     EYFS HOME LEARNING Ideas for Thursday 25th and Friday 26th June 2026

     Here are some activities your child can do at home to keep up with their learning while they are keeping cool!

    Maths and Numerical Patterns

    Shape Patterns

    Ladybird Spots - Counting, Matching and Ordering game

    Today's Number - Up to 20

    Higher and Lower - 3-11 year olds - Topmarks

    Phonics and writing

    • Please use your Oxford Owl login and the links below to access reading books and word cards corresponding to your phonics level.
    • Please share your school reading books or words and any other favourite stories at home.
    • We would love to see any writing you can do at home. Perhaps you could write a diary of your day and tell us how you spent your time at home?

     

    Creativity and Imagination

    • Go on a junk hunt in your house and see what you can make with what you find (tip, check the recycling!) Bring your creations to school to dazzle us.
    • Practise singing your favourite songs. if you have siblings maybe they could be your audience?

    What do I need to bring to school?

    • Warm and waterproof coat (and sunhat when necessary)       
    • A drawstring PE bag to keep on their peg (with spare clothes if needed)         
    • Packed lunch in a named lunchbox (unless you have ordered a school dinner online)
    • A named water bottle
    • Your child will not need to bring in any other snacks or their own pencils/stationary in Early Years.
    • Please do not encourage your child to bring in toys from home
    • Remember to name EVERYTHING!

    Please do not send in backpacks/bags or bring anything else in from home
