Here are some activities your child can do at home to keep up with their learning while they are keeping cool!
Maths and Numerical Patterns

Phonics and writing
- Please use your Oxford Owl login and the links below to access reading books and word cards corresponding to your phonics level.
- Please share your school reading books or words and any other favourite stories at home.
- We would love to see any writing you can do at home. Perhaps you could write a diary of your day and tell us how you spent your time at home?
Creativity and Imagination
- Go on a junk hunt in your house and see what you can make with what you find (tip, check the recycling!) Bring your creations to school to dazzle us.
- Practise singing your favourite songs. if you have siblings maybe they could be your audience?

What do I need to bring to school?
- Warm and waterproof coat (and sunhat when necessary)
- A drawstring PE bag to keep on their peg (with spare clothes if needed)
- Packed lunch in a named lunchbox (unless you have ordered a school dinner online)
- A named water bottle
- Your child will not need to bring in any other snacks or their own pencils/stationary in Early Years.
- Please do not encourage your child to bring in toys from home
- Remember to name EVERYTHING!
