As you are off to secondary school soon, it would be really helpful for your new teachers to find out some interesting information about you. We would like you to create an autobiography of your life so far. Remember, the purpose of an autobiography is to share the story of what makes you, you It should be written in first person, chronological order and be written in the appropriate tense (depending on whether you are writing about events in the past or things that are still  true now).

Maths

Create an appealing and creative revision poster for Year 5 that we can sell to raise money for your leavers' party. Pick a maths skill or method that you can explain. e.g. written methods for one of the four operations, multiplying fractions or even reading/plotting coordinates in the four quadrants.

History

What do you know about empires? What is meant by the term 'empire'? How do empires grow? How many different empires do you know about? How have many empires come to an end?

Complete a mind map, either using the link below or draw your own, to show your ideas about empire.

Science

Research and create a mind map or factfile on the research of Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution.
