FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...

How do I access school at other times?

To keep our children safe and secure, gates are locked during the school day. If you need to come into school during this time please use the main Reception, where a member of staff will help you.

What does my child need to bring to school?

Your child will always need a waterproof coat and water bottle. In Reception they will need a reading bag (reading books may not initially be given to children). It is often a good idea to give your child a spare set of clothes which they can keep in a small bag on their peg. Children will also need their PE kit (in Reception) for physical activities on designated PE days. Again they may wish to keep this on their peg to save taking it home every night.

What about lunch? (Reception children only)

Children may choose to have their own packed lunch from home or to order a hot dinner from the school kitchen online. Please see the school office for further details.

Please remember NEVER to include nuts in your child's packed lunch and to keep lunches healthy and nutritious. 

Does my child need snacks?

No. School will provide your child with fruit and with a drink of milk or water mid morning. Please do not pack additional snacks.

When is PE?

Your class teacher will let you know if and when PE takes place. Children are welcome to leave their PE kit on their peg. Please remember to remove earrings and jewellery on these days.
