This term, we will learn how can music and art help express and communicate religious beliefs; we will refer to the Christmas story to express this.
Spring Term
This term, we will continue looking at Christianity exploring to what extent do religious beliefs influence and encourage ‘good’ behaviour – What is the best way for Christians to show commitment to God? Is Christianity still a strong religion 2000 years after Jesus was on Earth?
Summer Term
This term, we will be looking at Islam, thinking about:
To what extent does participating in worship and/or prayer generate a sense of belonging? What is the best way for a Muslim to show commitment to God? |
How might beliefs and community shape a person’s identity? – Does belief in Akhirah (life after death) help Muslims lead good lives?
