Welcome to E P Collier Primary School

E P Collier School is a vibrant, multicultural community which celebrates the differences and values of all. The staff are proud to work at E P Collier and be part of the local community.

We believe in growing and developing the whole child so they are equipped with the social, emotional and educational skills needed to move onto secondary school and beyond. We have a strong PSHE ethos and each child is viewed and treated as an individual. We value our partnerships with parents and recognise the vital role they play in their children's education and well-being.

The curriculum we provide is broad and balanced and tailored to our community. We enrich the curriculum  with a variety of activities such as trips and visits to the school from different groups ranging from theatre shows and  topic theme days to a mobile farm!

Below is a poem written by one of our teachers which sums us up perfectly! 

On a quiet street with not much parking,

With a bell tower painted green,

Is a school called EP Collier:

Bricks are red and windows gleam.

Take a look inside the school gates,

Peer here, look everywhere,

You'll see warm and friendly faces;

Smiles and nurture, laughs and care.

And we shout, "We're EP Collier!"

And we shout, "We stand up tall!"

We are mighty! We speak kindly!

We're a really awesome school. 

The school is filled with children,

Who are funny, keen and bright,

They persist, they keep on trying,

Working hard in red and white.

The pupils are from near and far,

Backgrounds, languages do enthrall,

We're proud of how diverse we are,

Staff, parents, children: all.

And we shout, "We're EP Collier!"

And we shout, "We stand up tall!"

We are mighty! We speak kindly!

We're a really awesome school.

The adults - they're a team,

They go the extra hundredth mile,

Work, warmth, dedication,

Support always, with a smile.

They work to share their knowledge,

So EVERY child gets the best,

And has confidence, facts and skills,

Whatever their path, their life, their quest.
