Welcome to Year 6.
Miss Dass and Mrs Fox have continuing high expectations for your child this year. We will be following the National Curriculum in all subjects and preparing for SATs in May 2026
Our focus is to help to attain excellent standards in all lessons so that everyone will be ready for the next phase of education at Secondary.
We expect your child to develop excellent levels of self-control and the maturity to take responsibility for their own learning and behaviour.
We believe that by working hard and by helping each other and showing each other kindness and respect for our differences that, not only will your child's education flourish, but that there will be a lot of enjoyment along the way.
Your child is expected to always try their best and to know that you will make many mistakes along the way – this is called learning. Be courageous and honest, respect the school values, and we can expect to have a fantastic and successful year together.
