Homework

Spellings

Each Friday all children will be given  a set of spellings to learn  at home. These spellings will be tested the following Friday. The spellings your child will be taking home match closely what your child is learning in their spelling sessions.    

 

Reading

Please read with your child at home every day for at least 15 minutes. We hope that adults will ask relevant questions to check understanding.   

 

At E.P Collier School we follow the Read Write Inc scheme for teaching phonics. Please use the link below to take you to a selection of videos that will help you to support your child with their reading.

Maths

Maths homework will be set every Friday on the website: Purple Mash. The homework will be submitted online. Your child has their own login for this website.
