Once your child can blend some sounds they will bring home some simple blending books. Here is an example of how to use them with your child at home.

Once your child is able to confidently blend single words they will move on to reading Red Ditty books. They will read these in school and also bring them home to practise. Please note these may be in photocopy form rather than the original books.
